Welcome back to returning students, and a huge welcome to our first years!
If you don’t know by now, engineers write, present, debate, consult, and represent; they do it a lot and they do it when the stakes are high. Success in the profession depends on your communication skills, and we’re here to help you get good at them.
Who We Are
For those of you who are still learning the ropes you might be wondering, “what is the Engineering Communication Program?” As part of the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, we collaborate with instructors and industry to develop discipline-specific instruction in communication. You’ll have the opportunity to learn with our instructors in both requisite and elective courses where you’ll hone your skill with the language of engineering.
Certificate Program
For students looking to take their skills to the next level and position themselves as leaders in their field, we have recently developed a certificate program that offers a greater specialization in communication. The certificate gives you an additional credential for your resume and is an excellent addition to your transcript.
